Things I Will Shop For
Concert Tickets - See this section.
Music CDs - CDs by Japanese artists signed to major labels are usually quite easy to find. Recent releases tend to be more expensive than older items, though it depends on the item. I can also purchase new copies of indie releases that are currently in print. On request, I will purchase new releases at Tower Records and send you the special extras that come with them.
Music DVDs - Live DVDs are often fairly easy to find, though it depends on the item. I can purchase new copies of in-print items, or search for used copies of anything.
Music Magazines - Used magazines are readily available. More recent issues are easier to find than older issues. If you're looking for a specific issue of something, depending on what it is, it might take some time for me to find it, but I will try.
Photobooks - Price and availability depend on the item, but if you have the funds to pay for it, I can get it for you.
Band Scores - Band scores tend to run on the expensive side - at least 3000 yen per volume, but they are relatively easy to find.
Tour Pamphlets - Price and availability depend on the individual item.
Miscellaneous Band Goods - I will purchase any Buck-Tick goods you like at shows - just send me an email before the tour! Used goods for various bands turn up regularly in shops, but it's hard to make promises on specific items. However, if there's something you're dying to have, don't hesitate to contact me.
Manga - Japanese language only. Used manga are readily available for very low prices. Whatever you're looking for, I can probably find it quite easily.
Anime DVDs - Japanese language only, and subject to region coding. More recent and more popular releases are easier to find.
Anime Sountrack CDs - Readily available, though more recent and more popular releases are easier to find.
Anime Artbooks - Readily available and often very cheap, but it depends on the item.
Japanese Movie & Drama DVDs - Japanese language only, and subject to region coding. More recent and more popular releases are easier to find.
Japanese novels - Japanese language only. More popular authors are easier to find, but I can get you new copies of anything still in print from Kinokuniya or another large bookstore.
Miscellaneous Japanese Magazines - I can get you new copies of any current magazines, and try to find you copies of back issues of older ones, though of course, I can't guarantee success. No porn, though. Sorry.
Japanese Novelty Items - Hello Kitty chopsticks, Harajuku tourist t-shirts...anything, really, so long as it's not dangerous or alcoholic or otherwise restricted.
