Re-Translating NGS Translations

Over the past two years or so, we have been flattered to receive a number of requests from fans in non-English speaking countries for permission to re-translate our English translations into other languages. If you would like to re-translate our translations into Spanish, Russian, Arabic, or any other language, that’s absolutely fine—but please email us first! (It's themadaristocrat at gmail!) We sometimes revise our translations when we get new inspiration about song meanings, and if you’re going to go to the trouble to re-translate our work into another language, we want to make sure the version of our work you are using is the most current and accurate. Drop us a line and tell me what songs you want to use; we will get back to you within a few days. Also, if you re-translate our work into another language and then post it on your own personal website or blog, please credit Cayce as the author of the English translation - or even better, send us your translation so we can post it here on NGS. If you would like to translate one of our articles into another language, that’s also absolutely fine, but again, please let us know in advance, and ideally send us your translation so we can post it here.
