Note: Upon translating these lyrics, I couldn't help but think of Edgar Allan Poe's poem "A Dream Within a Dream." (If you're interested, you can read it here.) Though whether Sakurai was in fact influenced by this poem, I cannot say. Certainly, these lyrics contain strong (surely deliberate) references to Sakurai's previous work, especially Sacrifice, Yumeji, Solaris, and Keijijou Ryuusei.
