Note: These lyrics English lyrics are singable (rappable?) with the original melody. The subtitle of the song, “making of Lucy” pretty much sums up the meaning of this song - it’s about Imai’s creative process!
1) Yes, this is another double-entendre use of the word “come” with a sexual connotation.
2) These two lines are almost certainly a drug reference. In Japanese, getting high on drugs is often referred to as “flying.” “They won’t let you” refers to the strict Japanese laws banning most recreational drugs - with a teeny tiny nod, perhaps, to the fact that Imai was famously arrested for LSD possession in 1988. In fact, Buck-Tick originally wanted to title the song “Speed” as “Acid,” as a way of giving the finger to the establishment, but were stopped from doing so by the JASRAC censors and therefore changed the title of the song to “Speed,” which could plausibly be interpreted as having an innocent meaning (though we know better.)
