1) The word in this line, “jabara,” can mean all sorts of things, but the literal spelling of it is “snake’s belly,” and I translated it this way even though it’s not the conventional meaning because it fits in the song, and was probably used by Imai as a pun.

2) Not sure if this is some sort of word play having to do with the phrase "lounge lizard," this may be my imagination.
