Question 10.
You told me I shouldn’t chase the band,
but what if I want to send them a gift?

Of course, you are allowed to send gifts to the band members, though gifts should always be within the limits of decency. However, it’s unlikely you will be allowed to pass your gift to the band members directly, even at a small show. Oftentimes, there will be a box in the lobby of a venue before a show where you can leave presents, or “sashi-ire,” for the band members. If you don’t see a box like this, but you have a gift you’d like delivered to a band member, talk to someone at the box office, or talk to the person selling the tour goods. Most likely, they will either tell you where to put the gift, or accept the gift and pass it on to whichever band member it’s intended for. You can also always mail your gift to the office of the band’s fan club.
